SCC’s standard low-voltage cables utilise plain circular or sectoral stranded, copper or aluminium conductors and conform to IEC 502, BS 6346 and BS 5467 international regulations, while our standard medium-voltage cables incorporate plain, circular compacted copper conductors, conforming to IEC 502 and BS 6622.
Typically supplied with PVC oversheaths as standard, we also provide cross-linked polythene (XLPE) insulation for higher current-carrying capacity, superior short circuit ratings and improved moisture resistance.
